Dr. Paul Cotterill

Dr. Paul Cotterill has specialized exclusively in hair restoration for over 34 years, treating patients at his Toronto and New York clinics. A past President of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and recipient of its prestigious Golden Follicle Award, he is board certified by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) and recognized worldwide as a leader in the field. Dr. Cotterill personally performs each procedure, ensuring every patient receives his full attention and expertise—from donor graft removal to final placement. With a commitment to compassionate, customized care, he looks forward to helping patients throughout Newfoundland & Labrador and the Atlantic region restore both their hair and their confidence.

Dr. Stacey Wareham-Fowler

Dr. Wareham-Fowler has been honing her skills as a hair transplant surgeon under the mentorship of Dr. Cotterill for the last two years. She has also advanced her surgical skills with training at the Hair Transplant Workshop in St. Louis Missouri in 2024 and at the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons World Congress in Denver in 2024. Dr. Wareham-Fowler received a PhD in Psychology and Medical Degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland. In addition to her interests in surgical and non-surgical hair restoration, she is also a busy Family Physician and an active published researcher. Dr. Wareham-Fowler is originally from Irishtown, NL, on the west coast of the province but now calls Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s home. We’re thrilled to have her character, skills, and commitment to our team.

Dr. Ian Landells – MD. FRCPC

Dr. Landells received his M.D. in 1988, and worked as a general practitioner before specializing in dermatology at the University of British Columbia. It was there that he worked regularly in the Hair clinic under the guidance of internationally acclaimed hair expert, Dr. Jerry Shapiro. Dr. Landells has practiced dermatology in St. John’s since 1996 and is a past president of the Atlantic Provinces Dermatology Association. He is the current President-Elect of the Canadian Dermatology Association, and also sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Hair Research Foundation. Dr. Landells advises our institution on hair-related medical issues.

Andrea Jacobs, RN

Andrea has been a significant part of Dr. Cotterill’s hair transplantation practice since 1995, providing him with skilled microscopic follicular transplant technical support and surgical assistance. Primarily working in the Greater Toronto Area, her talents have led her abroad to work in clinics in New York City and Israel. During her down time, Andrea enjoys reading, walking her dog, and spending time with friends and family. We really admire Andrea’s incredible work ethic and patient care – welcome to the Hair Clinic.

Sarah Louise Pellerin

A native of rural Nova Scotia, now living is St. John’s, Sarah has an eclectic range of past and current skillsets – Classical Pianist, Communications specialist with the Royal Canadian Navy, BSc Kinesiology degree from Dalhousie University, Certified RMT, and successful entrepreneur. Sarah’s personal experience with hair loss spawned an insatiable desire to elevate to the top of our industry with her hair restoration knowledge. Identifying closely with other hair loss sufferers, she has fostered a compassionate ambition find an effective solution for every hair loss condition. The Hair Clinic is delighted to have Sarah as our Senior Hair Restoration Councilor since 2015.

Amanda Piccott, RN

Amanda received her Bachelor of Nursing Degree in 2006 from Memorial University of Newfoundland and has since held posts at Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta and currently at the Janeway Child Health and Rehabilitation Center in St. John’s, specializing in providing chemotherapy. Amanda has also served as an instructor at Memorial University School of Nursing. Amanda is a rare find in our industry, possessing both outstanding medical/technical ability and a passion for her role as a hair transplant nurse/technician.

Lily Capuana

We're pleased to also welcome back another of our industry’s most seasoned microscopic follicular unit hair transplant technicians, Lily Capuana. Lily started her medical hair restoration career in 1995 and served the people of our province from 1999 to 2006. She began working with Dr. Cotterill in 2000 as one of his primary technicians. Like Kelly, Lily has worked alongside some our industry’s most acclaimed hair restoration physicians in clinics in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. Lily is an avid reader, is heavily into physical fitness, and enjoys quiet moments walking her dog. Welcome back Lily!

Zoe Barnes

Some individuals have a natural aptitude with hair - the “it factor”! Zoe, our non-medical hair replacement technician, just happens to be one of those people. She possesses raw talent and boundless creativity to seamless restore any coiffure. Zoe embarked on her formal hair journey in 2020 finishing top in her class. After extensive conceptual, theoretic, and procedural training in non-medical hair restoration, Zoe continuously pushes the envelope to leave her own mark on best practices. Zoe is kind, patient, gentle, and authentic - our patients and staff simply adore her.

Barry Fowler

Since 1994, Barry has elevated his status as an expert hair replacement councilor and facilitator through industry education, research, and personal experience. He has built the Hair Clinic to be one of the busiest clinics per capita in Canada, and he is proud to direct one of the very few hybrid medical and non-medical clinics in the country.
