Dr. Wadden received his Medical Degree in 1991 from Dalhousie University Medical School. He embarked on his hair transplantation career in 1996, and to date he has performed over 2100 hair transplant procedures. Hair transplantation demands extensive medical knowledge, attention to detail, and a true artistic flair.
Dr. Wadden has acquired all of these skills through his 19 years experience in the field. In March of 2009, Dr. Wadden achieved “Diplomat” status with the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS). He is also a member or the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). Recognized by his peers and respected by his clients, it is a privilege to have Dr. Wadden on our team.
Donna developed her exceptional hair transplant technical skills working for clinics in Halifax, Ottawa, and Toronto. She is regarded by her peers as one of the most experienced technicians in Canada providing The Hair Clinic with over 24 years of experience.
She presents a genuine warm and caring demeanor to both colleagues and patients and keeps current with the latest developments in all aspects of the hair restoration industry. She takes enormous satisfaction with helping our patients restore not only their hair, but their confidence.
Jocelyn hails from the Philippines and moved to Halifax 16 years ago to find her calling as a hair transplant technician. Colleagues all agree that she is a natural in her field. She has performed her unique skill set with hair restoration clinics in Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax, and with us in St. John’s.
Her technical precision is surpassed only by her kind demeanor and her desire to make everyone happy. Her hobbies include physical fitness and culinary arts.
Victoria is the Hair Clinic’s Creative Director of Non-Medical Hair Restoration. Her designation as Master Stylist and extensive work as principle hair designer in the movie industry provides a unique skillset for all of our patients. She is compassionate, enthusiastic and highly inventive; a natural problem solver with a kind demeanor and infectious wit. Victoria hails from Portugal Cove-St. Phillips.
Stacey is a vital part of our seasoned team of hair transplant technicians. She is from Irish Town, NL on the West Coast of the province and holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She is currently pursuing her MD from MUN Medical School.
Although her schedule is consumed with a host of professional commitments, she still manages to find time for her young family. We’re thrilled to have her character and commitment.
Amanda received her Bachelor of Nursing Degree in 2006 from Memorial University of Newfoundland and has since held posts at Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton and currently at the Janeway Child Health and Rehabilitation Center in St. John’s, specializing in providing chemotherapy.
Amanda has also served as an instructor at Memorial University School of Nursing. Amanda is a rare find in our industry, possessing both outstanding medical and technical ability, we well as a passion for her role as a hair transplant nurse and technician.
Dr. Landells received his M.D. in 1988, and worked as a general practitioner before specializing in dermatology at the University of British Columbia. It was there that he worked regularly in the Hair clinic under the guidance of internationally acclaimed hair expert, Dr. Jerry Shapiro. Dr. Landells has practiced dermatology in St. John’s since 1996 and is a past president of the Atlantic Provinces Dermatology Association. He is the Past President of the Canadian Dermatology Association, and also sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Hair Research Foundation. Dr. Landells advises our institution on hair-related medical issues.
In 23 years, Barry has elevated his status as an expert hair replacement councilor through industry education and personal experience. He is one of the youngest hair clinic owners in Canada and directs one of the very few hybrid medical and non-medical clinics in the country. “I entered the hair replacement industry 23 years ago in St. John’s, NL, while meeting a demand for effective hair restoration resources for people of the province.
I have since acquired significant knowledge and experience through intensive research, industry conference participation and the association with some of Canada’s most gifted hair transplant physicians and dermatologists.
We have been members of the Capilia Group since its foundation, and are recognized as being the first and only full service hair restoration clinic in Newfoundland and Labrador. My mission is to introduce clients to the best hair loss solutions available in a compassionate, dignified and respectful manner.”
